The CRPF celebrated its Foundation Day with great solemnity along with the officers of CRPF 06 battalion. They participated in the Guard of Honor at its headquarters in village Dhirati adjacent to Katra. After that the Commandant of the battalion along with the senior officers paid tribute to the martyred soldiers. Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Jitendra Kumar Gupta told the soldiers that they should always be ready to protect the country. He also told the soldiers about the might and valor of CRPF. On the other hand, keeping the goal of ‘pure breath is getting fewer trees,’ in mind, the soldiers planted about 300 saplings of different species in the headquarters premises. An afternoon meal was organized for the soldiers and the officers. Deputy commandant Sandeep, officers Ravi Shankar Sharma, Devendra Kumar, etc. and other battalion officers and soldiers were present on the occasion.
