New Delhi, December 17, 2025 – The National Parshuram Parishad organized a massive peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, today, December 17, 2025, at 10:00 am, against the derogatory remarks made by Santosh Verma, targeting women and spreading caste-based hatred in society.
The Parishad strongly condemns Verma’s statements, considering them an insult to women and a threat to social harmony, constitutional values, and national unity.
The protest was led by Honorable Pandit Ashwini Kumar Chawbe (Former Minister, Government of India) and Pandit Sunil Bharala (Founder Patron, National Parshuram Parishad, and State Minister, Uttar Pradesh Government).

Pandit Sunil Bharala emphasized the need to protect women’s dignity, citing the bravery of Maharana Pratap and Rani Laxmibai. He referenced Guru Gobind Singh’s tradition, stating that respecting women is fundamental to Indian culture.
Pandit Bharala strongly condemned Verma’s derogatory remarks against Brahmin women, stating that such statements fuel caste-based hatred across the country.
National Spokesperson, Pandit Jeevananand Sharma, said, “We bow to Maa Bhagwati and assert that India’s culture has always revered women. Women have given us great avatars, saints, and warriors like Maharana Pratap and Shivaji. Santosh Verma, a so-called IAS officer, has brought disrepute to the service and insulted women, especially Brahmins.”
Sharma added, “Women are mothers, irrespective of caste or creed. Verma lacks sanskaar and Sanatan values. He might be linked to anti-national forces, and his dubious past record should be investigated. He has forged signatures to get promotions. We urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take cognizance of this issue, as Verma is undermining the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign.”
The protest saw participation from Sunil Dutt Sharma (Executive National President, National Parshuram Parishad), Ajay Bhardwaj (National President, Parshuram Swabhiman Sena), Ranjanish Tyagi (Delhi President, National Parshuram Parishad), and many other dignitaries, social activists, and citizens.
The protesters demanded immediate action against Verma, a fair investigation, and strict punishment if found guilty. They urged the government to ensure that no officer makes such statements in the future and that women’s dignity is respected.
