Jammu youth demands reduction in the prices of 4G internet packs

4G internet facility was restricted in Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2019 and has till now not been restored, resulting to impact the studies of the students. The Youth questioned the authority on charging them for 4G internet yet providing them 2G services that was clearly providing huge benefits to the big telecom companies and losses to the public. They further spoke about the problems faced due to the slow internet speed. It is very difficult for the students to attend online lectures/classes with 2G connection, the youth further added. Where the other states are heading towards 5G, the public of Jammu is still facing the troubles of slow 2G internet. The youth appealed to the authorities to take action on the restoration of 4G.
