New Delhi, May 25 – Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal cast his vote on Saturday along with his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, and other family members at a polling station in the Civil Lines area under the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency.
Speaking to reporters after casting his ballot, Kejriwal asserted that people are voting in large numbers against “dictatorship, price rise, and unemployment.” He urged voters to reach polling booths despite the intense summer heat to vote against these pressing issues.
Kejriwal is currently on interim bail until June 1 in the Delhi excise policy case.
