NIA Files Charge Sheet Against Canada-Based Khalistani Terrorist Arshdeep Singh and Three Aides

New Delhi, May 21 — The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against Canada-based pro-Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep Singh and three of his aides, accusing them of conspiring to unleash terror attacks in Punjab and Delhi, the agency announced on Tuesday.

This move is a significant step in the NIA’s efforts to dismantle sleeper cells operated by Singh, also known as Arsh Dala, who has been orchestrating terrorist activities in various parts of Punjab and Delhi.

The charge sheet names Arshdeep Singh, along with his Indian associates Harjeet Singh (alias Harry Maur), Ravinder Singh (alias Rajvinder Singh and Harry Rajpura), and Rajeev Kumar (alias Sheela). These individuals were part of a major terror-gangster syndicate in India, operating under the directives of Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) terrorist Arsh Dala.

According to the NIA, Maur and Rajpura served as the gang’s shooters, tasked with executing targeted killings. They were being sheltered by Rajeev Kumar, who received funding from Arsh Dala for providing them with support. Kumar also facilitated logistics and weapons arrangements for the two shooters on Dala’s instructions.

The NIA arrested Maur and Rajpura on November 23, 2023, and Kumar on January 12, 2024. The agency’s investigations revealed that the trio had planned a series of terror attacks directed by Dala and funded by him.

“Canada-based Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh Dala and his Indian agents Harjeet Singh alias Harry Maur, Ravinder Singh alias Rajvinder Singh alias Harry Rajpura, and Rajeev Kumar alias Sheela have been charge-sheeted before the NIA Special Court, New Delhi,” stated the anti-terror agency.

The NIA emphasized that its investigations are ongoing to completely dismantle the terrorist-gangster syndicate.

This charge sheet highlights the NIA’s commitment to thwarting terror plots and eliminating threats posed by such international and domestic terror networks.
