Kejriwal Predicts AAP’s Imminent Overtaking of Congress and BJP in the Near Future

New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asserted on Friday that given the rapid growth of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), it won’t be long before it surpasses both the BJP and Congress, eventually forming the government at the national level.

Speaking at an AAP workers’ program attended by parliamentarians, legislators, councilors, and party workers, Kejriwal noted that as the party expands its influence, it faces significant allegations. Taking a swipe at the central government, he claimed that the Modi administration, realizing it cannot defeat the AAP, has resorted to conspiracy, citing the liquor policy scam.

Kejriwal mentioned ongoing discussions with party leaders, including MPs and MLAs, on whether he should resign from the chief minister’s post or run the government from jail if he is arrested in connection with the liquor probe. Emphasizing that he has no lust for power, he recalled resigning on the 49th day during his earlier term and urged party workers to seek public opinion on potential scenarios.

“We have to ensure that we don’t get trapped in BJP’s conspiracies,” Kejriwal said, encouraging party members to go door-to-door and gather opinions from every household in Delhi.

Congratulating the party workers, he highlighted that the AAP is now the third-largest party in the country. In the wake of receiving ED summons related to the liquor policy case, Kejriwal held meetings with Delhi leaders, including MLAs and municipal councilors, discussing alleged conspiracies against AAP and the possibility of his arrest.

This gathering brought together all AAP MPs, MLAs, and councilors in Delhi.
