Ayodhya, Nov 11: The city of Ayodhya is gearing up for a magnificent Deepotsav on the eve of Diwali, with an impressive display of over 24 lakh diyas adorning 51 ghats, aiming to set a Guinness World Record. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path is also being adorned with various flowers as part of the festive celebrations.
In an ambitious endeavor, the Uttar Pradesh government, bedecking the city with millions of earthen lamps, seeks to establish a new world record. The Deepotsav will be witnessed by people from diverse locations, including tribal communities from the Pakur district of Jharkhand.
Approximately 48 tribal individuals from Pakur have arrived in Ayodhya to partake in the grand Deepotsav festivities. Hailing from a mountainous region, they have come barefoot to experience the event, adding a unique cultural dimension to the celebration. The Jharkhand Pradesh Shri Ram Janaki Charitable Service Trust facilitated their participation in the Deep Utsav.
Tomorrow, in their traditional attire, the tribal group will light lamps in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This marks their first visit to Ayodhya, following the earlier presence of the Santhali community members who came to witness Diwali celebrations in the city.
