Satna, Nov 9 : Addressing a rally in Satna ahead of the November 17 assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi invoked the concept of “Trishakti,” asserting that each voter’s choice has the potential to influence the BJP’s return to power in the state, fortify the Prime Minister’s position at the Centre, and keep the allegedly “corrupt” Congress at bay in Madhya Pradesh. Modi highlighted his government’s achievement of constructing four crore pucca houses for the poor while emphasizing that he has not built a house for himself. He urged voters to recognize the transformative impact of their votes, describing it as a unique “Trishakti” contributing to three wonders: the BJP’s governance in MP, bolstering Modi’s leadership, and keeping the Congress away from power.
The Prime Minister underscored his government’s initiative to eliminate 10 crore fake beneficiaries registered by the Congress from government schemes, a move that he claimed saved the country Rs 2.75 lakh crore. Modi expressed satisfaction in the widespread discussions about the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, emphasizing the positive sentiment it has generated nationwide. He credited the BJP’s double-engine government for the construction of numerous panchayat buildings and lakhs of houses for the poor in Madhya Pradesh.
In addition to highlighting the developmental achievements, Modi announced his resolve to extend the free ration scheme for the poor, initiated during the COVID-19 crisis, for the next five years after December. The Prime Minister also touched upon the political dynamics in Madhya Pradesh, referring to the ongoing tussle between two leaders, presumably MP Congress chief Kamal Nath and Rajya Sabha member Digvijaya Singh. Modi characterized their rivalry as a fight over the succession of the MP Congress leadership, suggesting that they are causing disruptions in the state to promote their sons.
Commending a musical group from Satna that performed a bhajan before his address, Modi emphasized the strength and power of music, likening it to a force emerging from the barrel of a gun. In a world grappling with crises and the sounds of bombs and guns, the Prime Minister portrayed countries like India as striving to make a positive impact globally through their ideas.
