Three people were burried under a landslide which included one woman. The landslide was triggered by heavy rainfall in Reasi district, Jammu as told by the officials on Tuesday.
The officials said that on the intervening night of August 24 and 25, a temporary shed got buried under the landslide. The people who got burried were Khalil Ahmed (30) son of Mohammed Rafiq of Jamlan, his wife Ruksana Bagum (25) and Mohammad Aslam son of Mohammed Rafiq, all were residents of Tehsil Mahore.
The police officials along with the locals of the area reached the landslide spot and recovered all the bodies.
According to some source, some buffaloes and other animals also got burried under the landslide.
SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir confirmed the recovery of three bodies under the landslide mass.
