Jammu-Srinagar National Highway blocked due to landslide and shooting stones
The 270 Km long Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) has been blocked due to shooting stones and landslides since yesterday morning, between Ramban and Ramsu.
Moreover, The vehicular movement remains suspended for the second consecutive day today.
Efforts to reopen the road have been hampered because of the overnight heavy rainfall and the debris clearance operations are stopped because of fresh landslides and intermittent rolling of stones.
