After two new COVID-19 cases were reported in Poonch, the lockdown was imposed in several parts of the town including Nakha Wali chowk to Haji market. The complete lockdown was imposed on tuesday morning.
An official said that nobody was allowed to move in or out of the area while strict directions were given. The directions clearly stated not to open any shops or operate any vehicles.
These directions and restrictions were imposed after a policeman posted at Nakha Wali Chowk and a vegetable vendor tested positive for coronavirus.
