J&K govt transfers over 132 kanal land to Jawahar Navodiya Vidyalaya, Bandipora
[6:15 pm, 23/07/2020] Lavika Jain Content Writer: July 23: On Thursday, the Administrative Council approved allotment and transfer of land over 132 kanals to the School Education Department for construction of Jawahar Navodiya Vidyalaya (JNV) in north Kashmir district of Bandipora.
It is found that the Administrative Council which met here under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor G C Murmu, approved allotment and transfer of land at village Brar in Bandipora. He added, “Till the construction of school infrastructure gets completed, alternate arrangements for housing the JNV are being carried out.”
Once the school is operational, they will make sure to cater to the educational needs of the children of far flung areas of district Bandipora and adjacent areas by providing quality education as envisaged under the constitutional right of education.
