Ravi Shankar Prasad, Information and Technology minister said that in the last 40 days, starting from 10th June, the Common Services Centre ( CSC) WiFi Choupal has provided 1 Lakh FTTH broadband connections in rural areas.
These connections are provided to around 21 states, using the Bharat Net infrastructure. Mr Prasad said, work is going on in mission mode to achieve the determined target of 5 Lakh FTTH connections by September month.
