National Doctor’s Day is celebrated on 1st July. It is marked for the birth and Death Anniversary of Dr Bidan Chandra Roy. Central Government established the annual remembrance of National Doctor’s Day in the year 1991.He was honorable Indian doctor and second chief Minister of West Bengal. He played a crucial role in the independence movement.
The Doctor’s day was celebrated by the Ncc cadets of 2nd J&k Girls Bn. Gcw Parade under the overall guidance of worthy Principal Dr. S.P Saraswat and ANO Lt.Suman lata. All the doctors play a crucial and an important role in fighting COVID 19 Disease. The Ncc cadets of the college lauded the role played by the doctors in the present circumstances. The cadets also gave awareness to the people about the safety measures of covid 19 like using masks , Sanitizers and maintaining social distance. Different activities were under taken on this day like posters making,slogan writing, play act , and also giving messages through videos. The cadets also took pledge that they are always ready to support them.
