Reasi, Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Mahore Police arrested one narcotic drug peddler from Ganjote Area of Tehsil Mahore,District Reasi .
The arrested drug peddler belongs to Bonyar Baramulla and is involved in supplying and selling of narcotic drugs in Mahore,Bathoi ,Bagga ,Jamaslan and chchi chaklas area of Tehsil Mahore area.
During the search of the arrested person namely Majid Gilani S/O Anis Ahmed Gilani R/O Batangi Baramulla Boniyar Jammu and Kashmir ,9.5 challis weighing 200 grams of substance suspected to be canabis (Charas in common parlance) was recovered from his possession.
The recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO Mahore ,Khalid Ashraf DYSP,JKPS, and under the overall supervision of additional SP Sh.Surjeet Bhagat JKPS and SSP Reasi Smt Rashmi Wazir,JKPS.
Case FIR Number 16/2020 under sections 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Mahore .
General Public are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in neighborhood area. Our consistent actions against drug peddlers should reassure the community members that we are making efforts to keep our society free from the scourge of drug menace.
