New Delhi, Nov 8 : India reported 11 new coronavirus infections, with the total number of active cases reaching 176, as per the latest data from the Union Health Ministry. The nation’s cumulative COVID-19 cases now stand at 4.50 crore (4,50,01,408).
The disease has, unfortunately, led to 5,33,295 deaths in the country, according to data updated at 8 am. However, the number of individuals who have successfully recovered from the disease has risen to 4,44,67,937, resulting in a national recovery rate of 98.81%, as reported on the health ministry’s website.
The case fatality rate currently stands at 1.19%. Additionally, the health ministry’s website notes that a total of 220.67 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country.
