FAIVM thanks Hon’ble Lt. Governor Shri Manoj Sinha for announcing industrial package of 28,400
crores for Jammu and Kashmir. This package for promotion of industry and internal trade for central
sector scheme for industrial development of Jammu and Kashmir will act as a booster for industrial
sector. Development of industrial sector will be helpful for the business sector also and it will generate
thousands of jobs for the unemployed people, which directly leads to socio-economic development
of Jammu and Kashmir.
FAIVM is very hopeful that in the able leadership of Hon’ble Lt Governor Shri Manoj Sinha industrial
and business sector will again work respectfully in the better interest of our nation’s growth and
prosperity.

trade organisation in Jammu and Kashmir, our FAIVM is one of the biggest trade organisations of
Jammu and Kashmir.
On the Behalf of the industry fraternity, we request government of Jammu and Kashmir to consider
the impact of toll tax removal on items/products manufactured by the local industries. In this respect,
inward and outward movements for the raw materials and finished products, freight and turnover on
finished goods may be considered for betterment of local industries.
