Priya Sethi pays tributes to security forces martyred in Galwan Valley encounter

Former MoS Priya Sethi expressed shock over the martrydom of 20 Indian soldiers including a Colonel Santosh Babu in a fierce clash with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in Eastern Ladakh.

Former Minister paid tributes to the martyred soldiers and stand with families of martyrs in the hour of crisis. She said that BJP government at the Centre has given full powers to the security forces guarding the nation at LOC and LAC to retaliate for giving befitting reply to the enemy.

The former Minister said this while speaking at the function organized by Secretary District Mahila Morcha Radhika Nayyar under the guidance of District President Savita Anandjee.

The former minister condemned deplorable tweets by Rahul Gandhi who has no idea as to how our soldiers work in the world’s most difficult and unfriendly terrain. She added, “Rahul Gandhi should never forget 1962, when the country was headed by none other than his great grandfather Shri Jawaharlal Nehru and we were not only caught totally unprepared but had to suffer a very humiliating defeat at the hands of China, despite the fact that our soldiers fought valiantly and caused huge casualties to China”.

She said that in 2010 to 2013, China army had untruded India on 600 times but the then Central Government headed by Congress has miserably failed to give befitting reply.

Savita Anand said“I and the whole team join the nation in saluting the valour and supreme sacrifice of our soldiers and security personnel in Galwan. My prayers and deepest condolences for their families in this time of grief”.

She was accompanied by State Spokeswoman MM Saroj Gupta, Mandal Vice President Indu Bala Kailash, District General Secretary Mahila Morcha Anuradha Sharma, Vice President Anita Gupta, Ranju Sharma and Meenu Sunita Secretaries and Didwal Mandal president east Neeru Anand.
