One arrested alongwith country made pistol and one live cartridge.

Jammu, June 3:

On 02/06/2020 Police party from PS Gangyal while on patrolling in Gangyal area intercepted one pedestrian namely Popinder Singh @Kaka S/O Gurbachan Singh @ Shoki R/O Deshmesh Nagar, Satwari who was roaming near Bhargav Resort, Gangyal suspiciously. On seeing the Police, he tried to escape from the spot. But the alert Police cops on duty apprehended him. On search, one country made Pistol alongwith one live cartridge was recovered from his possession.
The police has taken cognizance and registered case FIR No. 81/2020 U/S 3/25 Arms Act at PS Gangyal and investigation initiated.
