Union Government declares COVID-19 as a ‘disaster’

The Ministry of Home Affairs has notified COVID-19 as a ‘disaster’ for providing assistance under State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).
An ex-gratia relief of Rs. 4 lakh to kin of families who died of COVID-19, cost of hospitalisation for managing patients as fixed by State Government, will be provided.
