Aglow kids school, Doordarshan lane, Janipur, Jammu celebrated its 17 th Annual Day Function with great pomp and show. Jb. Sohail Kazmi ( Sr. Journalist) was the Chief Guest, Advocate Sandeep Gupta (Patron, Lagan Society for Art and Culture) was the Guest of Honour , Sh. Suresh Dogra (Secretary, Lagan Society for Art and Culture) was the Special Guest and Sh. M.M. Sharma (Chairman of the School) presided over the function The Show Commenced with Lightening of traditional lamp by the Chief Guest and other Dignitaries followed by Saraswati vandana presented by the students.The students looked splendorous and colourful, bubbling with energy to encompass everyone in their annual day celebration. Administrator Mr. Sanjay Sharma welcomed the Chief Guest and all other Dignitaries, Guests, Parents and Students.
Principal of the school Mrs. Rajni Sharma read out the annual report and highlighted the achievements of the students in the field of academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Students presented a glimpses of various dances depicting “cultural heritage” which involved various movements, figures and mesmerizing formations which engrossed the audience to the core. A Sufiana Mehshup was also performed by the students of lagan society for art and culture.The Chief Guest in his Speech appreciated the school management for rendering valuable services to the people of Jammu and Kashmir by providing quality education to the youth of the state and enabling them to make successful careers in various walks of life.The celebration concluded with the presentation of vote of thanks given by the chairman of the School Sh. M.M. Sharma.
