IAF men save woman’s life, airlifts from Kishtwar to Jammu

Setting up another example of bravery and professionalism, Indian Air Force men saved the life of a woman by airlifting her timely from hilly Kishtwar district to Jammu for a treatment.
Defence spokesman here said that the Helicopter Unit at Air Force Station Udhampur air evacuated a lady in critical condition with billary malfunction from Kishtwar.
”Flying in low light conditions in hilly terrain, Wing Commander Shivam Manchanda and Squadron Leader M K Singh landed at Jammu on Night Vision Goggles where Air Force Station Jammu was ready to attend the lady,” he added.
