Union Bank of India has extended its support towards relief and rehabilitation efforts for the flood-affected people of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. In line with its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, the Bank has contributed Rs. 1 crore to the State Disaster Relief Fund.
The contribution, made on behalf of Union Bank of India, was handed over by the Bank’s Respected Zonal Head to the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Omar Abdullah, today.
Speaking on the occasion, the Zonal Head expressed the Bank’s solidarity with those affected by the devastating floods and reiterated Union Bank of India’s commitment to lend its full support in times of crisis. He emphasized that the Bank stands firmly with the people of Jammu & Kashmir in their hour of need and will continue to support initiatives aimed at relief and rehabilitation.
