Deputy Commissioner Poonch today chaired a meeting to review the availability and stock position of essential commodities in the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the existing stock of LPG, food grains, petrol and diesel and stressed the importance of maintaining adequate supplies to ensure uninterrupted availability for the public.
He directed the concerned officers to work in close coordination with supply agencies to prevent any shortage and to strengthen the monitoring mechanism for effective distribution of essential commodities.

The Deputy Commissioner further laid emphasis on enhancing the stock capacity of essential items in the district so that adequate reserves are maintained to meet any eventuality or emergency situation.
