Srinagar, September 25: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Jammu and Kashmir announced that a 46.12% voter turnout had been recorded by 3:00 PM today across 26 Assembly constituencies as part of the second phase of the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly.
Polling stations across these constituencies saw a steady stream of voters since the morning, with citizens coming out to cast their votes in what has been a peaceful electoral process so far.
The ongoing phase of elections is crucial for the region, with voters deciding the fate of several prominent candidates in these constituencies. The Election Commission of India has ensured stringent security measures and smooth polling operations across all designated polling stations.
Polling will continue until the evening, and a final voter turnout percentage will be announced after the close of the polls.
