Tragic Incident: 7-Year-Old Fatally Injured as Vehicle Returning from Vaishno Devi Temple Plunges into Ditch near Katra

Katra, 11 Nov : In a somber incident near Katra, a vehicle carrying approximately eight devotees, returning from Vaishno Devi Temple, veered off the road and plunged into a ditch today. The bus, en route from Katra to Delhi, met with the unfortunate mishap around 5:00 am in the Nomai area when it lost balance.

Out of the total eight passengers onboard, seven sustained severe injuries, while a heart-wrenching loss occurred as a 7-year-old child tragically lost her life on the spot. The injured individuals are currently receiving medical attention at a government hospital in Katra. The incident highlights the fragility of travel and the profound impact such accidents can have on the lives of those involved.
