Srinagar, Aug 08 : Indian Army Organised a workshop for locals of Tulail Valley for production/ preparation of local products Like Honey, Rajma and Pickle. This drive was aligned with Honourable PM’s vision- *VOCAL FOR LOCAL* and aim of same was to assist people of Tulail Valley towards becoming self reliant & to generate employment by encouraging them to cultivate, produce and use indigenous products.
Indian Army, known for its unwavering commitment to the nation, has extended its support to promote local businesses and create opportunities for rural communities. In a remarkable initiative, Baraub Battalion joined hands with villagers of Tulail Valley to assist them in production and preparation of local products – Honey, Rajma, and Pickle, as these products are pure organic in nature and have distinct multiple medical properties. This collaboration further contributes for sustainability of local agriculture systems and also ensures access to authentic goods for local and global markets both.
A total of 12 women actively participated in these events.
Such collaboration between Indian Army and villagers in preparing Honey, Rajma and and Pickle demonstrates the power of collective efforts and perennial support to uplift rural economies. Local populace praised and extended their sincere gratitude to Indian Army for not only encouraging local entrepreneurship but also boosting the availability of quality products for consumers.
