Sher-e-Kashmir university introduces Hail Net System

Srinagar: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology has introduced a ‘Hail Net System’ as a measure to protect the apple crop. The system protects fruit crops from hails also providing them proper sunlight. In the same regard, a member said,”Anti-hail nets being used to protect crop from damage caused by hailstorms. Also, it helps in saving crops from birds.”
