Ayush Medical Camp being organised by Mayor along with his team

Jammu, July 16: Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta of Municipal Cooperation continuing with his commitment to provide best possible facilities to the citizens of Jammu organized Ayush Medical Camp accompanied by many.
Sh. Bharamjot Sittu President, Sh. Raj Kumar Councilor of ward no: 51 /General Secretary of other Backward classes Morcha UT of J&K in collaboration with Ayush Department at CNI Church Residency Road, Jammu. Sh. Gopal Gupta Councilor of ward No: 5, Sh Sunil Gupta, Sh Gulshan Kumar, Sh Tarseem Kumar, Sh Hari Om Sharma, Sh Madan Gopal & other prominent citizens of the area and medical staff of the Ayurvedic department were also present there.

Mayor told the general public to adopt Ayurvedic lifestyle for a healthy living in this period of deadly coronavirus. He along with members of OBC Morcha also distributed number of Ayush Medicines to the locals. Besides this, the participants were also properly checked by the medical team. Mayor appreciated the initiatives taken by the OBC Morcha & appeal to general public to take full benefits of such types of Ayush camps being organized in their respective wards.

Later, Mayor also handed over the cheque worth Rs. 25000/- each to Sh Raj Kumar S/o Sansar Chand R/o Sahjadpur of ward no.72 and Smt Sunita Devi R/o Shakti Nagar Jammu of ward no.29 who belongs to a very poor family and were suffering from multiple chronic diseases since long. They have approached the mayor in his office for financial assistance as they have no source of income for their medical treatment.

Sh Surinder Chowdhary councilor of ward no.29 Smt Kamla Gupta prominent BJP leader, Sh Ajay Kumar Distt Social Welfare officer Jammu were also present there. Mayor told that he alongwith other councilors is doing their best in providing more and more financial assistance to the needy & physically sick persons in collaboration with Distt Administration & social welfare department.

Mayor also inaugurated a Show room namely Gupta & Gupta sports shop at Lower Hari market Jammu. Sh Verinder Gupta alongwith his family members & prominent citizens of Jammu were also present during the inauguration function which was organized in a simple manner. Mayor was apprised by the owner that this is a unique type of sports show room where every items of best quality in this field are available under one roof at reasonable rates for the convenience of sportsman & children of Jammu city.
