Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo Gets Grand Welcome in Kishtwar After Rajya Sabha Victory

Senior National Conference (NC) leader and former minister Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, who recently won a seat in the Rajya Sabha, received a rousing reception on his arrival in Kishtwar today.

Thousands of enthusiastic supporters gathered in the town to celebrate his victory. People from various parts of the district assembled at the main market and adjoining localities, where they took out a grand rally to welcome their leader. Kichloo was profusely garlanded by supporters and NC functionaries amid cheers and slogans hailing his triumph.

The rally, which passed through several localities, concluded amidst an atmosphere of jubilation and victory chants. Party workers, local leaders, and residents expressed immense joy over Kichloo’s elevation to the Upper House of Parliament, calling it a proud moment for the Chenab Valley.

Speaking briefly to the media, Kichloo thanked the people of Kishtwar for their overwhelming love and support. He assured them that he would continue to work tirelessly for the development of the region and uphold the trust reposed in him.

The National Conference recently won three Rajya Sabha seats, strengthening its political standing and reaffirming its influence in Jammu and Kashmir’s political landscape
