Property of Terrorist Handler Attached in Handwara’s Palpora Village

In a firm action against the terror ecosystem, police today attached the property of a terrorist handler in Palpora village of Kralgund, Handwara.

A police spokesperson said the action was linked to FIR No. 73/2011 of Police Station Kralgund. During investigations, it was found that Nazir Ahmad Ganai, a resident of Palpora and currently operating from PoJK, was actively involved in guiding and handling terror activities in the region.

“Following due legal procedures and obtaining sanctions from the competent authority, Ganai’s land in Palpora was attached in the presence of police and revenue officials,” the spokesperson stated.

Police said the step reflects their commitment to dismantling terror networks and acting strictly against handlers and anti-national elements. Such actions, they said, aim to curb support structures of terrorism, deter unlawful activities, and uphold peace and security in Handwara.

The police also appealed to the public to cooperate in maintaining law and order, warning that strict legal action will be taken against those providing any support to anti-national elements.
