*Jammu Newspaper Editors Guild Holds Meeting to Address Media Issues and felicitate Journalists*

Jammu, February 5, 2025 — The Jammu Newspaper Editors Guild (JNEG) convened a significant meeting under the leadership of Chairman Raj Daluja and President A.K. Sawhney, focusing on pressing issues facing media houses and journalists in the region. The gathering, attended by prominent editors, aimed to foster collaboration and address the collective challenges within the journalism community.

Key topics of discussion included the urgent need for a dedicated press colony in Jammu, which has become a focal point for many journalists seeking improved working conditions and facilities. The members emphasized the importance of such infrastructure in promoting a healthy media environment and enhancing the safety and accessibility for reporters and photographers.
