Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Wednesday to participate in the sacred ritual of taking a holy dip at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati River at the Sangam.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accompanied the Prime Minister during his visit to the historic event. The Kumbh Mela, one of the largest spiritual and cultural gatherings in the world, commenced on Paush Purnima (January 13) and is expected to run until Mahashivratri on February 26, 2025.
Devotees from around the globe have gathered in Prayagraj for this grand occasion, which continues to attract millions seeking spiritual solace and blessings. The event, which takes place once every 12 years, remains a symbol of India’s rich cultural and religious heritage.
