“Tragic Loss: Former RJ and Influencer Simran Singh Passes Away

Simran Singh, a 26-year-old former radio jockey and social media influencer, was found hanging in her Gurgaon flat on Wednesday evening. Originally from Jammu, Simran was known to her 6,84,000 Instagram followers as ‘Jammu Ki Dhadkan’.

Police investigation revealed that Simran had been struggling with depression. Her last Instagram post on Dec 13 showcased her cheerful personality, captioned “just a girl with endless giggles and her gown, taking over the beach”.

Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and JKNC President Farooq Abdullah expressed condolences, acknowledging Simran’s significant contribution to the Valley’s cultural landscape. “Simran’s voice and charm resonated with the spirit of Jammu and Kashmir,” they said in a joint statement.”
