27.08.2024 The Dy. Inspector General of Police (DIG) of Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range (JSK) Range, Sh. Shiv Kumar Sharma IPS conducted surprise checking of Jammu Udhampur Highway, visited Ban Tol Plaza Nagrota, Jagati colony accompanied by SP Rural, Jammu, SDPO Nagrota and SHO Nagrota. During his surprised checking DIG Jammu highlighted the need for meticulous planning and execution of security measures to address any potential threats and challenges.
Moreover, all the officers were directed to strengthen all the nakas especially during night hours.
It was also briefed that proper liaison maintained with all the intelligence agencies(Army/ Para military forces and other centre agencies) in their respective jurisdiction.
DIG Jammu Sh.Shiv Kumar Sharma IPS stressed the significance of maintaining a high level of vigilance and preparedness for forthcoming Assembly Elections and ensure that all plans are effectively implemented.*
