Jammu : Kabaddi Men team of Jammu and Kashmir will participate in collaboration with J&K Sports Councilin 70th Senior National Kabaddi Championship to be heldat Ahmednagar, Maharashtra from 21st to 24th March 2024. The selected Men team was given a warm send off by General Secretary of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta here. The Men team underwent screening conducted by the J&K Sports Council under the guidance of Divisional Sports officer, Mr. Baljinder Pal Singh.
The sports kits were distributed to the players by Sh. Ashok Kumar, Former Director SMVDU in the presence Mr. Vikas Dogra, Manager of the stadium, Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of theAssociation, Former General Secretary Sh. Surinder Mohan, Sh. Tanveer Ahmed, President, Sh. Ashok Kumar, Former Distt. Secretary and Sh. Vishal Bamotra of Udhampur District Kabaddi Association.
In the meantime, President of the association Mr. Anil Gupta conveyed his warm wishes to the men team and officials for improved performance. President also said if the men team will come with medal, then cash prize will be given to them and their reception party will also be celebrated in the City of Temples at Jammu.
