Continue to drive against drug menace, a significant Campaign is being conducted by Range Police Hqrs. Jammu on 15.03.2024, This ambitious drug awareness campaign aimed at fostering a drug free community through a Nukad Natak (a team of Nav Durga Kala Manch) headed by Shazi Khan. The programme is conducted at Girdari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College Hiranagar and Amar National Hr. Secondary School Marhreen under Civic Action Programme under the Control & command of DIG Jammu-Samba- Kathua Range Dr. Sunil Gupta-IPS.
Programme started with the warm welcome of the Chief Guest SO to DIG Jammu Sh. Rajinder Singh Katoch, SSP and guest of honour Principal of the GLDM Degree College Hiranagar Dr. Pragya Khanna and Principal of Amar National Hr. Secondary School Marheen Sh. Tilak Raj, SDPO Border Sh. Dheraj Singh Katoch.
In the programme Chief Guest Sh. Rajinder Singh Katoch, SSP while addressing media said that students/youth are the future of the country, they should utilise their energy towards positive approach. He also said that drug is a poison which destroys once life and we should stay away from drugs and guide others to stay away from it and also guide about its bad effects in our life.
Both the Principals while interacting with students said that, these events will provide valuable information and resources to help individuals make informed decisions. Principals, Staff and students present in both the Programs appreciated and thanked Jammu & Kashmir Police for organising such a knowledgeable/entertaining programme.
Team Nukad Natak awarded with Cash Prize from RPHQ Jammu for its outstanding performance related to drug abuse and its bad effects.
In the occasion Dy.SP RPHQ Jammu Sh. Jatinder Singh, SHO Hiranagar Arun Koul, IC PP Mahreen Ravinder Kumar and in Team CAP RPHQ, Jammu ASI Tarsem Lal, ASI Jasbir Singh, Sgct Sudesh Sharma and Surjeet Singh present on both the venues for smooth functioning of the events.
