Rajesh Gupta calls on D K Shivkumar Dy.CM Karnataka

BENGALURU: Former senior congress leader and Jammu Warriors Front (JWF) Chief Rajesh Gupta called on Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister on Wednesday at his residence Sadhashiv Nagar Bengaluru and congratulated him for becoming the Deputy CM of Karnataka and presented him with a flower bouquet. We have had a very close association for two decades and we both shared old memories said Gupta. 

JWF leader also discussed the political issues of J&K and apprised him of the current situation of Jammu and Kashmir. Gupta said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are enduring immense agonies on account of an unnecessary delay in their political empowerment.

Rajesh Gupta  said that there is no substitute for an elected government and a bureaucratic regime can never address the aspirations of the people.“People give vent to their day-to-day based suffering when they meet us. I think the sense of accountability is missing in our bureaucratic setup. But it happens when you have no elected government in place,” he said while underlining the need for early restoration of the Statehood.

D K Shivkumar assured him that he will raise this issue within his party forum in New Delhi.
