Jammu: Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) J&K Unit Saturday organized state level workers convention in Jammu . The block heads from different areas projected public issues with regard to the water and power scarcity, bad condition of roads, shortage of ration and non-availability of proper Medicare facilities in their respective areas.

Malik while speaking on the occasion alleged that BJP Government has totally failed to come up to the expectations of the people. He said there was no governance on the ground while public was deprived of basic facilities. Addressing the convention, Malik said that the youth has been the worst victim of anti youth policies which has become a hallmark of its governance during last nine years. He demanded holding of early assembly elections in J&K followed by restoration of full statehood with constitutional guarantees. He also slammed Centre’s deliberate move to deny people their democratic rights to enact different laws from time to time.

Malik hit out at Centre for failing people of J&K on all fronts while expressing serious concern over the unremitting disconnect between the administration and the people in absence of the democratic setup in J&K and blamed BJP for hiding behind its failures.He expressed serious concern over the imposition of property tax on economically depressed people and said after downgrading of State into two UTs in an undemocratic and unconstitutional manner, Centre is punishing people under the garb of enacting different laws, from time to time in order to divert attention from its failures and damages caused to every sector in J&K.He asked the Centre to pave the way for democratic process in J&K, which is bound to address disconnect, disappointment and other immediate issues concerning people, who have experienced tremendous hardships post reorganization of erstwhile J&K State.

He alleged that present BJP dispensation in the centre and J&K has created atmosphere of trust deficit, employment deficit and Development deficit and total disconnect between Govt and people More over common people of Jammu and Kashmir has been left at the mercy of God as there is no body to attend and listen petty day to day problems of common people. Common man goes to Govt Offices for petty works days together and one day he is asked to send his request online under the garb of online common man is tired and disappointed. There is no online facilities in the villages resulting in he has to spend huge money for online submission of his request.

Malik urged the administration to wake up from its inaction and address the pressing issues faced by the people, as the entire union territory is grappling with a shortage of basic necessities. He expressed disappointment with the bureaucratic indifference toward the concerns raised by public representatives. He accused the BJP of failing to understand the aspirations of the people of J&K and held them responsible for creating this chaotic situation and betraying the people of Jammu and Kashmir.The rising unemployment worsens economic stability, especially as the private sector is not robust enough to generate sufficient employment opportunities. He criticized the government and its departments for not addressing this issue seriously, pointing out the lack of advertised positions, ineffective recruitment procedures, corruption, favoritism, and other loopholes that hinder job creation.
