Jammu, July 22 : AICF chess for everyone FIDE rating chess tournament started here at IDPS school sunjwan Jammu. The event is organised by crown trust under the aeiges of AJKCA and J&K sports council in collaboration with IDPS school sunjwan.
Total 136 players from 10 states are participating in this event .Senior Advocate General Ms. Monika kohli was chief guest on the occasion while Arunima choudhary, Chairperson IDPS school was guest of honour. Atul Kumar Gupta Joint secretary AICF and working president AJKCA and Baldev Raj President AJKCA, School principal Randeep wazir , School Manager Madhu Abrol , Arvindu coordinator ni AJKCA besides other esteemed guests were present on the occasion.
International Arbiter Varun Kumar of Punjab is chief Arbiter of the event while Arushi kotwal and Neeraj Patel of Gujarat are deputy Arbiters for this event. The event will be played under FIDE Laws of chess with latest international rules. Total 9 rounds will be played under Swiss system. Players can achieve International ratings through this event.
