Handwara , 03 June : On the directions of BDC Rajwar a cleanliness drive was organised by the Rural Development Department Rajwar along Govt Primary School wader bala along Health Department.
BDC Chairperson, Block Rajwar Shaheena Ji along Sarpanch Waderbala Ab Gaffar and other PRI membersa, Secertary Panchayat with staff, officials from Health Department, Staff & Students from Govt Primary School Waderbala participated in the drive.
BDC Chairperson Rajwar Shaheena Ji in her speech spoke about the importance of cleanliness drive. She said cleanliness drive help to maintain environmental sustainability of whole area.
She urged the villagers to actively participate in the awareness-cum-cleanliness drive so that the targets would be achieved by end of 2023.
Sarpanch Waderbala thanked the District Administration and Tehsil Administration for initiation of Swachh Bharat Mission in Rajwar Block.
Addressing to the gathering, Secertary Panchayat RDD sensitised regarding segregation process of solid and liquid waste at primary level. He said that the dry and liquid waste should be segregated at primary level so that the segregation at secondary level becomes easy.
