CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BRIDGES NEAR SDM JAMMU SOUTH OFFICE PRESS RELEASE

Jammu, May 22 : Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj, a social volunteer organisation working to promote education, environment, health and nationhood among the general masses and students community in particular by organising different kinds of activities and highlighting general / basics problems faced by the society under the guidance of Col R K Sharma (Retd) Chairman and Sardar Daljeet Singh, President. ABS took serious note the damaged bridges approaching to Tehsildar Jammu South and SDM Jammu South offices and connecting Rohi Morh, Gadi Garh and other areas. A time of two years passed but no any kind of action taken by the concerned department till date. ABS reiterated that there is a dire need of construction of new Bridges on Balol Nallah near SDM Jammu South office, Gadi Garh (Jammu) as both the bridges were damaged and in dilapidated condition due to floods in the month of August 2020. It is not in the condition to be used for transportation of vehicles yet it is used by the locals for approaching to Naib Tehsildar, Tehsildar, Jammu South and SDM Jammu South offices for daily need basis at their own risk of life and property as it is not closed by the concerned department. Through the medium of your esteemed newspapers attention of the authorities concerned is drawn for construction of new bridges in place to avoid any untoward incident at the earliest for making it safe, secure and functional for conveyance of general public as a welfare measure.
