Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation under the President ship of Sh. Sushil Sudan held Press Conference
19/05/2023 : To high light the prevailing situation in Health Department which created mess among health employees. Federation also urged to Government to consider the following demands at the earliest in the best interest of Public and Employees.
- The post of Director Health Services is lying vacant from 1 st April 2023 after the retirement of Dr. Saleem Ur Rehman. Due to non availability of Director Health Services and Director Family Welfare lot of work are lying pending in both the wings of Health department. Public as well as Employees are wondering Pillar to post for their genuine work. It is first time in history after independence that such a Decorative post are kept vacant for prolong time. Many employees are waiting for their transfer for which the portal has been closed on 01/04/2023 and federation request the Government to keep this portal open till the post of Director Health Service is not filled. Number of files of Health employees and public are waiting the nod of Director Health for terminal ill patients who are waiting to get their treatment of Kidney/Liver Transplant from higher institute.
- Release Salary of FMPHW:- The salary of FMPHW is pending from last six month and they are persistently demanding for release of Salary. Despite of repeated request to Government the issue of pending salary is not resolved till date. Many FMPHW now on Life Long treatment and at the mercy of Almighty for sustenance. The salary of FMPHW and other staff Working under 2211 head is disbursed from the state coffer all over the country and budgetary grant sanction later on by the Central Government,and same grant is to the UT Govt , but this rule is not implemented in JKUT.
We appeal to the His Excellency Lt.Governor Sh.Manoj Sinha and chief Secretary Dr. Arun Mehta solve the issue of permanent employees at the earliest Those who participated in the press conference are Sh. Madan Lal Sharma, Sh. Sanjay Choudhary, S. Kulwant Singh & S. Tejinder Singh.
