Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Rao, State Organization Building & Manifesto drafting Committee Member, Aam Aadmi Party, J&K-UT, after completing his 3 day’s tour of Panchyats Jia, Halaran, Joura Kalan & Joura Khurd of Bhadarwah Constituency, said that at present out of 26 sanctioned posts of teaching faculty only 7 posts are filled in Government Higher Secondary School Halaran, up-graded to Higher Secondary School in the year 2008. It is unfortunate that at present only two lecturers each of Chemistry & Urdu is there in this Higher Secondary School. It has always been without teaching staff right from its establishment. There are no faculty members of important subjects like English, Physics,
Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Political Science, Hindi, Economics, Sociology, Islamic studies, Environmental Science, History & Physical Education etc, making the system a complete joke & detrimental to the future of young generations, Mr. Rao said and appealed the Lt. Governor, of J&K-UT, Sh. Manoj Sinha & the Education
authorities to immediately fill up all sanctioned 10+2 posts of Lecturers in Higher Sec. School Halaran in particular & other sanctioned posts of 10+2 lecturers of Chenab Region in General and also urged the LG administration to fill up all vacant posts of teachers in Middle & High Schools of Chenab Region without any further delay. It is pertinent to mention that the wards of the four Panchyats, i.e Joura Kalan, Joura Khurd, Halaran & Jia of Sub-Division Thathri are unable to choose subjects like environmental Science, History & Physical Education in 11 th & 12 th as these subjects are not sanctioned in Hr. Secondary School Halaran & also many other Hr. Secondary Schools of Chenab Region. Mr. Rao further said that the promise of providing 2 crore jobs annually to the youths of the country in 2014 and 50,000 jobs to the youths of J&K after abrogation of Art. 370 still haunts the minds of young people here, which never saw the light of the day. Adding fuel to the fire, several thousands of youths engaged on contractual basis, ad-hoc basis, daily
wagers or need based arrangements in all departments be it Home guard, Education, PDD, PHE, Health, Food & civil supplies & so on so forth has compounded the miseries of frustrated youths with every passing day as scores of them are crossing age limit or nearing the same without any hope of ACHHE DIN, he maintained and said that previous
leaders of successive state governments are squarely responsible for the present mess who, without any planning & application of mind, adjusted the youths simply to create vote banks & appease their kith & kins, has put thousands of youths in great dilemma & worst confusion, he claimed & maintained that Educational Institutions were opened with
political considerations without proper infrastructure in place, Health Institutions sanctioned without availability of staff & Buildings. He appealed the Lt. Governor to immediately create the posts of lecturers of all streams in Higher Secondary
Schools & colleges in rural area of J&K UT without any further delay & fill all the vacant posts in all Educational Institutions in rural area of J&K UT, for justice to the poor students of rural areas & also to the ignored poor highly educated & trained unemployed youths of J&K UT, so that whole lot of highly educated trained and frustrated lot, is adjusted and a sense of confidence building is created in their minds purely on merit basis without caste, creed and colour & this will certainly signal out that abrogation of Article 370 should have been done much earlier.
