Dogri Sanstha organized online Dogri Kahani Gosthi in which short story of Ved Rahi was
presented by Prof. Shahsi Pathania and Prof. Lalit Magotra and Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’

Prof. Shashi Pathania presented celebrated short story writer, novelist, poet and filmmaker Ved Rahi’s short story ‘TRUTTI DI CHHATRI’ which revolves around agony and sufferings of an old man after the death of his young son in a blast executed by militants. The Kahani Goshthi was presided over by Prof. Veena Gupta, Vice President Dogri Sanstha Jammu. She complemented all the three story writers for their thought provoking stories. She said that all the three short story writers are well known for their contributions in Dogri literature and Kahani Goshthi was very successful as all the three stories were quite different concept vice and craft was also distinct one for each story. She further added that in fact it was representation of three generation of short story writers being led by Ved Rahi, followed by Prof. Lalit Magotra and now Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ which proves that short stories written in dogri can compete with short stories being written in any language.
The Kahani Goshthi was conducted by eminent dogri short story writer and playwright Jagdeep Dubey and vote of thanks were presented by Pawan Verma, well known theatre activist and dogri poet.
