Jammu, 9-5-23 : Yudhvir Sethi ( Vice President BJP Jammu Kashmir) , Braham Jyot Satti ( Incharge BJP OBC Morcha Jammu Kashmir) paid along with other BJP workers paid Tribute to great Indian warrior Maharana Pratap on his Birth anniversary at New plot , Jammu .
Maharana Pratap was a legendary warrior , he was ultimate embodiment of courage , sacrifice and patriotism .
In the program they paid Floral tribute and Maharana Pratap and reminds his valour and great works for dharma .
Program was arranged by Rakesh Pandey ( mandal president obc amphala).
Raman Sharma (president amphala mandal) , Ashok salgotra (dist president obc) , Karan Sharma (Ambphalla mandal general secretary), omkar (district media incharge), Sunil bindru (ambphalla mandal media incharge ) were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Yudhvir Sethi extend greetings on the occasion and said Pratap Singh popularly known as Maharana Pratap one of the bravest and legendry son of our nation . He is inspiration to all and the tales of his bravery and valour will continue to inspire many generations .
He said Maharana was a hindu king who chose struggle over surrender . He fought many battles like Battle of Haldighati, reconquest of Mewar . Despite numerous attempts by Mughal king Akbar , Maharana was never captured and is widely regarded as the symbol of bravery and the struggle for independence from mughals .
He said strength and valour of Maharana Pratap will inspire us for centuries and he will always remain alive in our hearts .
Braham Jyot extend greetings on this holy occasion and said Maharana Pratap embodied the spirit of bravery and his commitment to defend his public is true example of real kingship and his extraordinary life will always be remembered for ages .
He said Maharana Pratap was born to Udai Singh II of Mewar and Jaiwanta Bai in 1540 later on the name Maharana became a fear for mughal emperors . Pratap was a folk hero for his military resistance through guerrilla warfare which proved inspirational for later warriors who fought against the Mughal Empire including Malik Ambar and Shivaji.
He said Maharana Pratap is a prominent figure in both folk and contemporary Rajasthani culture and is viewed as a celebrated warrior in that state, as well as in India as a whole .
He said Pratap’s successful defiance of Mughals using guerrilla strategy also proved inspirational to figures ranging from Emperor Shivaji to anti-British revolutionaries in Bengal . Pratap was real son of India and will be remembered for ages, he added .
