Jammu, 09.05.2023 : Department of Sociology in collaboration with Department of Education of Govt. Degree College, R. S. Pura organized an awareness rally from Govt. Degree College R.S. Pura to main market R.S.
Pura in which both students and faculty members participated with great enthusiasm to spread Awareness among citizens about G-20 Presidency. The rally was organized under the banner of G-20 Presidency and AKAM and patronage of Prof. Rajni Bhagat, Principal of the College. The Event was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Jai Mala Thakur, Department of Sociology and Prof. Swati and Prof. Sandeep Kumari, Department of
Education. The theme of the rally was ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’. The rally was flagged off by Dr. Preetpal Kour, Associate Professor HOD Zoology. About 40 students participated in the rally. Both faculty members and students interacted with the shopkeepers and other citizens of R.S. Pura to spread awareness and message of India’s G-20 presidency. Other faculty members viz Prof. Shifali Abrol Dr. Savtanter Kour,, Dr. Kiran Pathania, Prof. Ahsan Ahmed, Prof. Rakesh Choudhary, Dr. Arief Mohd. And Dr. Puja Sharma were present in the event.
