INDIAN ARMY ORGANISED WARM UP MATCHES FOR KUPWARA WOMEN’S T-10 CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 

Kupwara, May 05 : In its continued efforts towards women empowerment and boosting the sports capabilities among the women in Kupwara Indian Army’s Kupwara Terriers have Organised warm up matches for Kupwara Women’s T-10 Cricket Championship 23 (3rd edition) for various teams of Kupwara. First & 2nd edition of this Championship were played in 2021 & 22 respectively.

   Kupwara Women’s T-10 Cricket Championship 23 is scheduled to start from 10 May 23. This year the championship has gained more attention among the local girls and a total of 270 players from 18 different teams of Dist Kupwara are participating in the championship.

The inaugural warm up match has been played between Aijaz Sports Kupwara and Growth Sports ‘A’ which was won by the skilled team of Growth Sports Academy. Rest of the warm up matches are scheduled to be played in subsequent days.

The teams comprised of girls between the age group of 12 to 25. The players displayed exceptional zeal and excitement. 

The participants thanked Kupwara Terriers for providing the girls this opportunity to showcase their talent.
