Tarun Sharma Condemned Statement of Dr. Farooq Abdullah was against the G20 summit .Incharge Cultural cell BJYM J&K Tarun Sharma slams Former J&K Chief Minister and President National Conference over his statement that Jammu, the land of Dogras is being ignored for G20 Meets, as G20 meet is being held Kashmir and Ladakh only and not in Jammu, ignoring Dogras. Farooq Abdullaha first should remember that the Ladakh is a separate Union Territory like J&K and not a part of J&K at present. Further, holding G20 meet in Kashmir and Ladakh is an effort of the Union Govt to link the terrorism hit people of Kashmir valley with the stream of the world as the participants of 20 countries including the European Union are participating in the G20 meet under the presidentship of India this Year. It is not necessary that G-20 meet has to be held in every state but as decided by the Union Govt. It is also an attempt to bring the decades old terrorism hit valley and the neglected Ladakh Region, which had suffered a lot socially and politically during last 70 years ruling of National Conference and its allies. It is a known fact that it is the prerogative of Centre Govt as to where the G20 Meet has to be held and not necessary to hold in every State and region.
The statement of NC President reveals his discontentment over any development in the Kashmir as he does not want that the people of Valley are linked with main stream of the country or the world but to live under the fear of terrorism to keep vote bank intact for his party. He fears that his vote bank will be slipped with holding any such G20 type meets of worls class, which may bring the people of the valley out of fear of terrorism and open support in favour of BJP.
He noted that after August 05, 2019 Jammu and Kashmir witnessed massive development. Besides, the Central government took a clear stand on zero tolerance against terrorism. “After abrogation of Art-370 and 35-A, the terror and terrorism has reduced very much,” Tarun Sharma said.
