Jammu, 03/May : The Somnath Mahadev Mandir,Jajjar-kotli, Jammu echoed with chanting of Vedic ‘shlokas’ (hymns) as the ‘Chadar Vidhi’ (anointment) ceremony of prominent Mahant Rajeshwar Giri Ji appointed as Mahant on Wednesday . The ceremony was attended by number of followers and Sadhu’s.
Apart from other Sadhu’s, Mahant Rajesh Bittu ji Executive President Sadhu Dharma Sthan Committee was also present at the ceremony who formally offer Chadar to Giri Ji prior to appointment ceremony that was held in the temple.
Speaking on the event
Mahant Rajesh Bittu ji Executive President Sadhu Dharma Sthan Committee gave his best wishes to newly appointed Mahant Giri Ji and said that Santh Samaj believe that Giri Ji will do his duties with full support from our side and we believe in him.He added that when ever he need us we are their as we have to work together to make things happen,he hoped that the new appointee will keep the values of Santh Samaj intact and serve the people accordingly.
At last Rajeshwar Giri Ji Maharaj thanks everyone for believing in him and said that he will work whole heartedly for the betterment of temple and people and will remain true to his duties.
